Hi Ron I started to build one a long time ago got all the front end / hornplates / boiler / cylinder/ crank / rear wheels done then I was offered some 3" Burrell bits so got stuck in with that (95%finished now) maybe one day I will get back onto the Allchin

You possible saw that I'd bought an Allchin boiler in the 'general' section, it's really a project for the future when I finish the Simplex, it looks pretty complicated going by the book, I'll see how I get on when the time comes.
