Hi Folks,
I've seen several recomendations for the Sievert Cyclone Burners has anyone actually used one for building a boiler?
Which burner number did you use? Did you use more than one torch?
I've been trying to find out out what power these have and the biggest I can see on the Sievert site (3525-03) has an output of 10kW whereas the usual normal burners (2943 and 2944) have must higher outputs of 43kw and 86kW.
Cheers Bryan

Bryan,
The good thing about these burners is that they take their air supply from near the handle rather than at the burner. This means that they work more reliably in confined spaces.
Hope this helps. John

Ive used them, in fact I helped someone build a boiler and used nothing but cyclone burners. From memory we used the middle burner and the largest one, mind it was a relitavely smalll boiler of a similar size to Gemma/Scamp.

I have used one for a gauge 1 boiler. Type 3336, worked well with 50mm copper pipe.
