I got given a warco CY90 as a christmas present, and due to unforeseen circumstances it has only last week come out of the box...
Well what can I say? It has saved a lot of arm ache, a 2'6"long, 70mm dia. cast iron bar is now 40 1/2" thick slate waggon wheels (well they will be when I have finished machining them[three hole disc wheels rather than the curved spoke)
However I have got through 3 blades in the process (From Warco) the first did 12 cuts, the second 14, the third finished the job, but I think it is about to go "twang" had I asked it to do anymore... We will see as it has 20 axels to cut from 1/2" BMS.

Ron, can I ask which model you got? None of those I can see on the website mention vertical cutting.
Cheers, Andy

Andy, it's the 4 1/2" model 6001MW, if you click on 'more info' on their website it tells you more about it. Ron

If yer saw is eating blades Colin it must be out of line somewhere or not set correctly. As posted previously, various articles in the MEW whilst not making silk purses out of pigs ears certainly makes Nylon ones out of them. SPECIALIZED blade suppliers also help. See previous posts. Regards Ian.
