Hi There, Has anyone got any drawings for a QCTP for an Axminster SIEG Mini Lathe. Actually any mini lathe would do as i can modify to suit. Cheers Phil

what is a "few toolpost"? You have to understand, Chris, that a "few" is not like a "phew". In gutteral English it means not an effin' lot or - hardly a multitude - or not like my wife's catholic grandfather's kids! C'mon Chris - go back to not painting choo-choos Freddo

Hi Freddo,
I was only pointing out for fun, that if you have a go at someone for missing out a letter in 'change', then you should have an s at the end of 'a few toolposts'!
I will now get back on my pedantocycle and p.... off again....
Chris.

G'day all Tel, answer to your implied question, "2/6 with sauce"! On another group I rail against QCTPs as a waste of money. For about USD10 you can buy replacement tool posts for the Seig type lathes. Much better value as each post can hold up to 4 (2 is enough) tools compared with one for the QCTP at less cost. I have 5 such posts. You just have to be patient with using shims. Regards Ikey (Ian)
