Coventry die heads

Hi every body

Can any body help with setting up literature for the following Coventry die heads

1/4 Dx

5/16 Ch

1/2 Chs

I am particularly interested i finding out how they auto open, aparantly a dx head can be made open as a ch/chs head

Any help would be appreciated

I have sussed the DX and ch head operation but the chs has a lever sticking out of the back which the fine adjustment screw seams to push on. If this handle is pulled outwards away from the die end, the dies open to release, however this leaver appears to me, not designed to operate like this, it appears to me it should be turn backwards and forwards but why?

Any help would be appreciated
