For many years I visited the ME exhibition at Wembley, Alexandra Palace and Olympia. Getting to the venue from North of the Mersey, where I live meant a full day but always an enjoyable one. The new venue of this wonderful exhibition and the time of year it's held, precludes me and I've no doubt, many other people from Northern climes from attending. Sandown Park is just too far away and the time of year means public transport services are somewhat curtailed. I now find out the Midlands exhibition is moving further South! I get the feeling us Northern lads are being squeezed out, does anybody agree?
Dave.

Why not try the Harrogate one (you've missed this years - by a month)
Many would say it is the best one and it ain't a million miles from the west coast

Sorry, should have mentioned that one. Did go and as always enjoyed. However, we don't see the "Duke of Edinburgh" display at any other exhibition than the ME, wherever it is held. I wish! Still think we are being squeezed out! Apparently there was some correspondance in "Model Boat" magazine along the same thread re the venue for the ME exhibition. I have been told of this tonight by a friend who I mentioned this posting to.
