Hi everyone, I'm trying to get a club up and running in Thurso, Scotland, (thats near John O Groats!) So far there are four of us, with diverse projects on the go, from a small marine steam plant up to 71/4" gauge Loco, but we've all heard rumours of other Model Engineers living up here. If anyone is interested in sharing their knowledge and skills with others, please contact me. It is intended to be for anyone, no matter whether your interest is in Locos, Traction Engines, Internal Combustion or whatever. Expert or Novice. I've had some great help from David Clark of Model Engineers Workshop, who's going to put a short piece in an editorial in the magazine. The ultimate ambition is to get a track running around the boating lake in Thurso. I'll let you all know if we "get a head of steam up"! Peter

I wish you success, even though it wont benefit me, being right "darn sarf".
Always good to see the hobby expanding.
