Making some use of my recent time off work, no progress on the engine, but managed to get four of these finished, would have done 5 but ran out of steel for the bobbins with 6 more bobbins to go. Have enough wheels turned up to make 5 more four wheel wagons. (brought 2'6" of cast iron bar, cut into discs and turned up, made 40 wheels...) FR/WHR coaches also have the same size wheels, so could knock up a couple of bogie coaches?

Anyone know where I can get 1.75" to the foot roof slates? 3.5" X 1.5" and very thin!!! as they are crying out for a load!

you can buy slate chippings from garden centers or B&Q or similar
