Afternoon all, following the finishing of my stuart 10V, hopefully just in time for xmas! im looking for a new project and fancy a small petrol engine (just a nice and simple one) however im trying to find one that can be built from stock and doesnt require castings. I know that several have been described in ME magazine over the years however i dont have access to them. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Please dont anyone suggest the Bentley BR2, that wwwaaayyy above my ability!!!

You could try Nemett's NE15-S that has recently been covered in ME, thats all from solid with just a couple of timing gears & bearings to buy. The articles can be bought as back issues or in book form. Hemingway's do several engines but I think mostly from castings. Model engine builder mag also has designs from solid stock, like this hit & miss I made, just used Stuart flywheels. Jason
