Hi All, my stuart 10V is well on the way, and i am now at the stage where i need to fix the standard to the faceplate. In the build guide it recomends to make two v shaped plates to be bolted on to the legs of the standard, what material do you recomend i make these from, and if has any one got any spare from thier builds and are willing to part with them , let me know
Many thanks, and mery christmas

A couple of strips of 1/4x1" about 2" long would do. Hole in the middle for your T nut/bolt and tap the oposite end for a jacking screw M6 or 1/4" .Think I just used a couple of standard clamping blocks when I did mine many years back.

Hi M.B....Jason has it right...but watch your set up, centre the standard using the pitch circle centre for the Cylinder fix...and easy does it ;D All the best with the build, John.
