Does anyone know if Proops have slipped off the edge?
I was compiling an order a few days ago but when I tried to get their site up today all I get is a "... Could not locate remote server ..." message.
Anyone have phone contact number?
Dave.

Hi Dave,
they are still advertising on Ebay (as 'Spoorp') but they are now closed until Jan 5th. They may have shut the website down until then? Could just be a problem with the server.
The Tel. No. is 0116 2403 400

I tried that number but no answer so I will give them a try after Christmas.

Just an update for anyone trying to order from Proops online.
It appears that the company responsible for maintaining their site went bust just before Christmas and closed the web page (without informing Proops). They can still be contacted on the phone number given by John (Baggo) above, and a paper catalogue is available.
Dave.

That's good news. Having used them since they were in London (and selling loads of interesting stuff) I would hate to see them disappear.

Proops website is up and running again.
Lets hope they do continue as Alan has said they come in useful at times.

Brian Yes, the web site pages are there (they have been all the while) but the site is not working. Trying to add items to the basket or to use 'search' results in a '404' error message. Dave.

Having purchased several items from their excellent stand at the Ally Pally show (today until Sunday), I can confirm that they continue to offer a full range of products, and their staff are as helpful as ever.
