I bought a set of 3 small flycutters in a wooden block with a 1/2inch shank at the Ali Pali show the other weekend. When I came to test them, I realised that I did not have an appropriate sized allen key.
The same cutters seem to be available from several different suppliers and I can't actually remember which one they came from but it might have been tracy tools (they were in the middle towards the tanks).
Does anyone know how big an allen key I need for the grubscrews? Given that the measurements are in imperial, does that mean that the grubscrew will also be imperial?

Just measured mine, the small one takes a key that comes in at 0.075 so I assume its a thin 5/64ths and the mid & large take a 3/32nd key, Not sure of the thread.
I have had my set for about 10yrs so the current grubscrews may not be the same.

That sounds like the set I bought a couple of years ago and the allen keys and threads are metric.

The smaller one took a 2mm key without issue, the larger ones are between 2 and 3mm so I'll get hold of a (3/32nd) 2.4mm one, I think.
