Does anyone know where I might get a small (6"x12") piece of 1/4" thick felt to renew the slide wipers on my Centec mill?

Thanks for the information guys. I emailed Completeautomobilist and got a very prompt reply giving a very reasonable price inc VAT and P/P. I had previously spoken to a commercial gasket/oil seal manufacturer, hoping to get an offcut (and I was quite happy to pay a reasonable price,) but what with minimum order price, minimum post/packing and VAT, they were asking £20 for a 12"x6" piece of felt. I'll try asking the chemists first though about orthopedic felt. Thanks again

Why do Big Jim Jehsophat and Fat Belly Jones keep springing to mind every time I spot the thread?

You could try your local craft shop that's where I got mine from plus I could choose from a large range of colours

The pads that are sold to fit on chair legs to protect floors might be ok? I have seen them sold in precut round shapes and in small sheets. They have a self adhesive backing but that should not be a problem to remove if need be - and they are cheap.

The felt pads used as floor protectors work fine - been using them for years
