Hi Does anyone have, or does anyone know someone that has an Axminster RF25 milling machine? My machine's motor connection box has been smashed in a recent move and I need someone to look inside their box to tell me what the wire connections on the terminal block look like Thanks a million

It's big brother, the RF30, looks like this - shouldn't be too much difference.

Hi bigbrother
Thank you so much for your kind reply and the diagram, which I have just found.
I will have a look and see if it matches. In fact the one wire I am more concerned about is the earth as all of the others are still attached to the battered terminal block.
I'll report back when I've compared your drawing.
Thanks again.

Hi Tel (sorry I called you bigbother by mistake before)
I have compared my wiring with your diagram, and unfortunately it is a little different.
My machine for one does not have a reset button on the box and there are only 4 wires from the motor to the terminal, your diagram shows x 6.
However, my question is probably quite simple for someone that knows more about electrics than I do because as previously mentioned all wires are still connected to the terminal (battered as it is) with the exception of one - and that is the earth wire.
My block has x6 terminals as per your diagram and there are wires attached to all of them except the middle terminal on the right hand side - do you think this is the terminal for the earth connection or do you think it should be connected somewhere else ? This is the earth wire coming from the machine switch box to the motor connection box - not an earth wire coming from the motor itself.
The other difference on my machine is that there is a capacitor which should be attached to the top left & right terminals - that was smashed and I'm waiting for a replacement. In fact it looks like the capacitor is attached to the same terminals as your reset button.
Thanks again for your help Tel, I appreciate it

Hi again Tel Well I have just twisted back the crumpled housing from my box and yes that should be a 'reset' button. In fact I have also just received the 'capacitor' from Axminster and it seems that this is NOT what I need, wrong part from them yet again What I need is obviously the reset button and reset part. I have sent them photographs and explanations and it seems they just don't know what I need.
