The cast iron NS wheel hub for my 2" Burrell is smaller that the named outside plate to the extent that shaping the later would spoil the perimeter lettering. MJ Eng have yet to respond........
Anybody else come up against this? Would you add a steel strip around the edge or what? I did briefly think of machining it down and adding a plate on the front but that's a bit 'structural' and there wouldn't be much room for fixings.
Any suggestions appreciated

I've found that all the castings I've had from MJ have had plenty of metal on them (2" Fowler), which of the two castings is wrong according to the drawings eg outer plate too big or center too small? Looking at Lee Hattons one on MJ's gallery the outer plate does look larger than teh center, I will e-mail him and see what his was like. www.mjeng.co.uk/gallery/hatton2inburrell/bt001b.jpgIf you do have to alter the size of one of the parts I would be inclined to build up the hub center with something like JB Weld epoxy. Thanks Jason I'll explore the weld option, you mention, and attempt to see which part is wrong. Rod
