Peter's Railway and the Moonlight Express. In the second book, Peter and his Grandpa build more track and equipment for their railway and Peter learns to drive the locomotive. This is one of the very few childrens' books (I don't know of any others) which are intended to get or keep kids interested in model engineering, railways and all things mechanical. Most easily available direct from www.petersrailway.com/book-shop.aspxor by post from Chris Vine, PO Box 9246 (MEF), Bridge of Weir, PA11 3WD. (price £11.99 + £1.50 P&P. £13.49 total). Hope it goes down as well as the first one did.....! Regards Chris.

As regards my artistic talents and greetings cards:
All the artistic pictures in the book are done by the Artist John Wardle. He is a clever railway artist but also is good with other subjects.
I have only done the simple technical drawings. If I don't have a ruler I am stumped...

I believe you will be at the WHR signing copies over the May bank holiday?
I will be working as Guard and fireman that weekend, but will see you for a couple of signed copies.

Hi Nexuas,
Sorry to be such a long time replying but I did not see your post!
Yes I will be down at the Welsh Highland Railway, signing copies on the 2nd 3rd and 4th of May. It is a lovely place there and there is one of the best railway bookshops in the country, in the station.
Will we see more of your wonderful photography which you posted on the forum last year??
See you there...... Chris.

Hi Nexuas,
Sorry we did not say hello properly, but I do now know who you are!!
That was a most enjoyable weekend. Although the Welsh Highland (Porthmadog) only have a short bit of line, they make up for it with a really good display in their museum.
Are you going to post any more pictures for us??
Chris.

Hi All,
I am sure none of you need an excuse to visit the Bluebell Railway, but I shall be there at the weekend, June 27th and 28th.
If anyone would like a signed copy of a Peter's Railway book it would be good to say Hello......
Chris.
