Unusual Rail vehicle in 10 1/4"

I thought you mighht be interested in a rail vehicle born out of desperation.

I had the thing at work for years and then had to bring it home - whereupon it was immediately in the way wherever I put it.....
A spare bogie frame, wheels and axles sorted it. It weighs at least 3/4 tonne.....
