Hello, new member!!
I have just been able to acquire a Surface Grinding tool room accessory which is called a "Grind All No.1". It is made by Kemworthy Tools Ltd, London SW19, in the dim distant past when England used to make stuff!! This is a magic bit of kit if you have a surface grinder.
Some of the things it can do I know about and are obvious, but I know there must be lots of other things it can do that I do not know about.
To that end is there anyone out there or knows anyone that would still have the original instructions that would have come with this bit of kit? that I could make arrangements to copy?
Thanks in advance... Heres hoping...
Ted.

Hi Ted. I've seen one but never used one. Clever indexing chuck incorporating a V block. Those who haven't seen one before can see it here: www.harigmfg.com/grindall1g.htmlJB

Many thanks for the reply, that site was very useful, looks like you can order the manual from there!! superb. Just what I was looking for. It's a US site, but I'm sure they will deliver to the UK.

There was an article in ME Workshop a while ago about the Harig version, followed by a make-your-own series. I managed to get a similar tool from Ebay last year. It is good for making obround punches but I have not used it for anything else yet. If you get a manual, I would be interested to know if it gives useful suggestions for use or whether it is just an 'oil-it-here' booklet like so many.

Thanks for the info, I am attempting to get a spare for my Grind All and a manual from Harig in the USA. they are still in business and list sparers for their machine which appears to be identical to the UK version.
Just as an aside, the Harig version is listed in the current J&L catalogue at £1500 plus VAT!!
