Any one going? I'm planning to get along on the Friday (so you should be safe if you go the other days).

All,
Yep I'm going but it'll be mob handed with a coach load of oldies from the Cheltenham Club on Saturday.
I'm thinking of wearing my Secret Santa present. It's a red/orange woolly hat that looks like a pair of toddler's drawers complete with sown-up legs.
Feel free to tell I look a total lemon. However, a free hat is a free hat ;D.

Colchester SMEE is donating a coach load to the profits on the Sunday, trouble is you've paid for your ride and ticket so you HAVE to BUY something. Its a struggle but you have to do it

I'll be there, usually take liquid lunch at 12-00. See you in the bar? I'd wear a flower in my hair but there's not much left to hold it in place! Its gone skin coloured, the rest is a greyish sort of white.

I'll look forward to it. Alas I'm banned by the Frau Doktor from my long standing experiments on the effect of alcohol on the human body until I loose some weight (tho' following a break in at the house last night I felt some medication at lunch time today would do no harm and indeed it did a substantila amount of good. Shouldn't all whole body exercise be standing up to drink?) so no beer for me (but I'd be awfully glad of a sniff of the fumes of yours). Usually I employ a body double in photo opportunities. There are one or two photos of me driving a black and red Sweet Pea at www.malden-dsme.co.uk, look for the photo galleries for the last few years. I'll probably be wearing a leprous green fleece with a blue collar which has accompanied me around the world the last 15 years. I'll ping you a personal message on this board with my mobile number. Cheers!

Sorry, single brain cell overloaded! Forgot to say I'll be there on Friday. Will think of something to wear so I'll stand out! Not going in the pink dress again though, clashes with my blue handbag!

T-V, Frau Doctor won't be there. (I hope.) Killjoys the lot of 'em! Perhaps we can evaporate a pint between us?

Oops!
I'm sure Frau Doktor only has your best interests at heart. My Obergruppenfuhrer keeps reading the insurance policies, I've read them and don't find the story as funny as she does. Can't understand why she laughs so much?
Hopefully see you Friday.

Well I'm disappointed. I thought model engineers were nice people. There I was lurking in the Phoenix at Ally Pally when suddenly four men leapt on me. Waggy and his mate and Dave Beaman and his mate jumped on me and held me down while repeatedly forcing vile brown liquids down my throat. Eventually I made my escape (staggering slightly) and had a look around the show (in soft focus). For me lots of trade stands but the exhibits not up to the Sandown standard. I've emailed pics to Alan who might publish them on www.modelengine.co.uk

I was one of the viffers assailants, must say he didn't put up much of a struggle! His arm was only twisted two degress out of normal alignment when he gave in, shouting something about his London Pride! Most enjoyable meeting though, must do it again next year. Cheers y'all.

Waggy. no No NO. It was 358 degrees honest. And I distinctly said only small pints. The Frau Doktor might read this and would hate her to think that I fell from grace rather than was forcibly shoved! Yes it was very enjoyable. I'm looking forward to next time. Cheers!

I think the words of "Young Mr. Grace" are most appropriate, "You've all done very well". There are some superb things there.
