Hope for Duchess builders?

Something which may be of interest to Modelworks Duchess builders left with part-built models after the Modelworks Closure.
In the August 2009 issue of 'Old Glory' steam & vintage magazine is an advert for Lynx Model Works Ltd - lynxmodelworks.co.uk who offer to assist Duchess builders to complete their models. They claim to have commissions to complete 7 kits and will be in a position to offer for purchase parts for anyone wishing to complete their own model.
Do I recall Engineers Emporium were originally mentioned in this forum as the company offering to complete the Duchess - has there been some change?

There's a '1' missing from in front of the 7 TractionBob, and Lynx are looking to find the rest of the @44 builders who lost-out with the demise of Modelworks. At least they are doing something very positive for us all, unlike EE who have gone very quiet about the whole job!

i am having a modelworks duchess completed by John @ Lynx Models. He is very helpful and so far all is going to plan. to the best of my knowledge, he is completing circa 12 No. anybody else have any info, photos or details on completed or part completed kits would be appreciated.

does anybody have a contact email for the other 11 who are having duchesses built by Lynx Modelworks?

I am having one done by them, and would love to be able to contact others, so that we can achieve the best models together?
