I have been running a short string in Geneal Chat on the subject of getting the best out of the DROs which we seem to be fitting to our lathes and milling machines. It appears that there is little in print and the manual provided with the kit leaves a lot to be desired. Any chance of an explanatary article in the near future? JonM

I'm going back onto course- which is where I started! Arguably the best reference to the performance of DRO's is the Yahoo Shumatech Group.
As for the mechanical installation which must differ from system to lathe or mill or tool and cutter grinder, then probably you will have to adapt what has been done to suit what you have.
