I believe there was a book published that included pictures of most of the English Walking Beam Engines. Alas I have lost the name of the book. Does anybody know the name of the book and possibly is the book available?
Also is there available a DVD or CD of most of the English walking beam engines?

I don't know of a book specifically about Beam Engines that has a comprehensive set of photos of UK engines, but there are many such pictures in the classic "Stationary Steam Engines of Great Britain" series by Gearge Watkins. This is a 10 or 11 volume set packed full of stationary steam engine photos taken from the 1930s to the 1970. Some of the engines are stopped, but many were still working. Individual volumes come up second hand but they're not cheap.
