List,
A little while ago under the heading PTFE Regulators several contributers mentioned the use of a ball valve in the regulator, adding that the said valve should be stainless steel. This morning I received a call from a friend, who has replaced the troublesome disc regulator in his 5" B1 with a ball valve. On hearing from me that the valve should be stainless and not brass he is in a bit of a panic. He searched the web and found numerous suppliers of the stainless variety, but is at a loss as to what to buy and from whom. Can anyone suggest a suitable valve for the B1 and recommend a supplier? Now to get on with the Manor cab. Keith

Why don,t you go to page 2 and read the posts re ball valve regulators. I have sent pics of the system we use, suppliers etc. to various members who have given me their E Mail Addresses and will so do for you (or your friend if you wish)

Hi steamjohn
A friend of mine is building a 7 1/4 GWR 1366 and is not happy with the regulator design. I recently mentioned your idea to him and he was very interested and keen to find out more. Is there any chance you could email me some info that i can pass on to him. We would both be very grateful.
Best regards Jim
