The latest Screwfix cat dropped through the letterbox today. They now include 240v LED (white, blue, green, red & orange) 240v GU10/GZ10 lamp replacements. These are the little sealed beam units more normally in 12/24v halogen. Prices from £6.10 to £9.96 for the white.
They also do 12v LED spot lights (a bit too expensive at present) but maybe ideal for cool working light.
