The reason I asked was I could have pointed you in the direction of fabricators who could have possibly sold you the small quantity that you require with the test certs. If you want to buy from a stockist then check your local steel stockist but they generally don't like the small amounts we normally want

I'm looking for plate myself - I've found a tube supplier for the barrel, dome and firebox (Tinkerbell marine boiler) but am somewhat stumped for plate, which will probably be 12mm (it's drawn 11mm for some reason) and some 16mm for the dome top bolting plate. It's been suggested that I enquire about offcuts at a couple of full size boilermakers, not too far away. I'm in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
Any potential leads?
