2" Minnie

Hi all

I am now considering my next project and trying to find suppliers of castings for the 2" Minnie.

does any one know of any UK suppliers for these castings, i so far can only find Blackgates, and would liek to know of a few to shop around for prices,

Any information would be gratefully appreciated.

Blackgates have the right to the design so they are your only choice other than making your own patterns.

As I said in this thread a couple of days ago Blackgates and possibly Dave Bickerton for road loco parts.

The cylinder casting needs machining all over so you could do it from a block of Meehanite and shrink or loctite the liner into place. A 2" Fowler flywheel is the same dia from M J Engineering and all the rest can be fabricated or machined from solid.
