Can any body tell me who makes the Myford 7Series retro fit power cross feed attachment . My lathe is a 1947 ml7 (apparently with less wear than a 10 year old myford according to the factory), so I think it may be worth investing in one of these.
The ones I have seen photos of fit between the cross slide and the cross slide handel and look a bit like a cast diesel filter housing.
Also are they any good.
Any info on the above would be helpfull

I recall seeing a review/advert for one in engineering in Min somewhere around volumes 8 to 12. But cannot find it now... typical. I know it was not cheap I recall thinking I paid about that for my S7B at about the same time.
Agin EIM: someone used a battery drill to provide the power feed. Much cheaper than buying the after market power feed. A thought.

Hemmingway are working on one for the Harrogate Show but i think it is for the ML7 not the supper 7 might be worth a call.
