South Cheshire MES are having a public open day on Saturday, 18th September. There will be various locos running during the day giving rides, plus a small display of club members' work. Refreshments will be provided all day too and it is entirely FREE. We will be open 11am to 5pm. Our Clubhouse and track is behind The Peacock Hotel carpark - postcode CW5 6NE Clearly visible here on Google Maps (53.070134,-2.496874)

I saw this link when searching for the society but was looking for some pictures. There is some nice film on YouTube www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IgtQ9W_MBY&videos=ERLcLem2TDg though and that was fun. Looking forward to more pictures from home of the Princess Coronation! Dave

Thanks for that Mark, I'd love to have seen it but it wasn't possible. I''m only in the CW2 area once in a blue moon and I think that won't be for a while. Is there any film or pictures from the Willaston track on the www?

South Cheshire are currently trying to recruit a webmaster to look after our site. The problem with many model engineers is that they tend to be computerphobes! Something about dogs and tricks........ However, we now have a candidate in the frame and hope to be moving forward in the new year when said candidate retires.
