Does anyone know of a supplier producing drawings and castings for a 4-5" steam lorry, foden etc.

I've not dealt with him but people that have used him are happy with his service. Ask on Traction Talk in the model engine section, there are a couple of 4 1/2" Foden owners, one is from a Modelworks Kit, the other that Dave Oliver has I think is a John Rex one. There has also been a recent thread on doing a 6" Foden. The other option is a Steam Traction World kit. Dave's FodenJason

My old chap built a 3" one to the Terry Morris Design... There were a few faults with the design The cylinder block is far from easy in any scale to do it correctly, i.e correct simpling valve for true compounding.

The STW kit is a duplex engine unlike the full size Foden which is compound and IIRC the John Rex engine is the same as that is basically what STW are selling.
