I have just aquired a 5" B1 and unfortunately the blow down valve is stripped. Does anyone know where I can get hold of a blowdown valve with the following non-standard thread? The boiler thread on this valve is 5/16 x 22tpi.
Many thanks.

I can only suggest making one, I doubt you'd get a commercial valve with a 5/16" BSF thread.
Good luck,
Waggy.

You could perhaps get a 3/8" valve and turn down and thread the stub to the size you want?

Thanks for your replies. The easiest option seems to be to drill out the plug thread and fit a larger plug. Thanks.
