Just looking on E-Bay, and I've come across some rather nice looking 6-inch Machine vices for sale. Although refurbished, at £25 (plus £20!! p & p), they seem good value. Anyone any comments before I submit my bid? The URL link will spoil the page here, so please check the number :

Depending on the final price they look a good buy, only caveat is the seller hasn't much feedback. If you want to buy new, a while back I bought a Vertex milling vice from Chronos, it's a well made,solid, accurate piece of kit and excellent value, I think it was about £80 or £90 including carriage

Those vices look to be a good deal. I could well be interested in one. I wonder if there is any way in which we could combine our bids and the p&p costs. If I bid separately from you, I just drive the final price up!!
