I have recently aquired a Modelworks Black 5 with a boiler that needs attention has anyone got a boiler drawing that I could borrow or copy please. Any advice would be more than welcome.

I think you might have a problem getting a ModelWorks drawing for the Black 5, I believe they were all made 'in house' but it might have been to someone elses design. What issue are you having with it? Maybe someone on the forum will be able to assist.

The issues we are having with the boiler we have got the profile of the throat plate at the top appears to be curved but on the backhead end it straight across the top and need to know which it is and whether its supposed to be parallel or tapered. Also it would be nice to know the radius on the top corners and radius where it comes in on the sides of the throat plate. Please can anyone help on this.
