You could try asking the Engineers Emporium who purchased all remaining Modelworks stock. There is a Paul Tomlison who is a member on here, you might find it is the same person.
Personally I wouldn't give more than scrap value for it and have a read of the Sir Nigel thread first to se what you are getting into.

Leave well alone would be my advice for many reasons of which I'm sure JB will be listing in his Sir Nigel Gresley thread. But for me it would also be the lack of scale which personally is as important as if the thing actually works. Having now seen one up close I'd never buy a modelworks kit even if it did run straight out of the box. I appreciate that there has to be some compromises when mass producing something but the components on Winson/modelworks kits are just far to heavy and therefore way overscale. How a model looks is everything to someone like me.. Pete

Thanks guys. Station Road Steam had a complete kit for sale at a good price in 2008 and a friend was really annoyed he missed it by just a couple of hours. At least once a month he moans about not getting it but I've pointed out many times to him just how poor the fit of these kits are. It's nice to have this confirmed by experts so I'll let him see this thread and tell him he had a lucky escape. Thanks again

IMHO, the price asked for that half-an-A4 is excessive.
And, given the basic problems with them, I would walk, no run, away!
