2 letters in the latest MEW were printed before in MEW no. 166.

I agree that that is bad. Also, do we need repeats of how to build articles like the current Worden T & C grinder? Not recent, I know, but I would have thought 'accessible' to most M.Es,

I have to bow to the sages of this board on this one but as a relative newbie to MEW (only 3 years now), I was not aware of this. Having said that, the build article on the T&C grinder has got me all fired up about one and I am sure that there will be a few latecomers like me that appreciate the odd reprint. At the end of the day, we have all seen the pleadings for new articles in the editorial so we cannot really moan too much if the repeats are there due to a lack of articles. I know we could all subsribe to the digital archives or just borrow a copy from a freind but if you don't know the articles are there, you don't know what to ask for (even if you do search through some on-line indexes!).
If I do see an article in any magazine that does not really interest me (like CNC for example), I just ignore it and look deeper at the ads!..
Phil.

Hi all, Maybe slightly of engineering.....but, Many years ago before our govt. banned handguns I was heavily into shooting. A brand new magazine came out called "Hand-gunner". This only lasted a few issues. I was surprised to find a whole page of readers letters in issue one. After that I have always viewed letters in magazines with a large pinch of salt. I have also seen the identical letter in several magazines. Just an observation. Steve
