Hello, I have a certificate for a loco of mine which still has over 12 months remaining on it, however, I have since left the club that carried out the test and may well join another one closer to home when I get chance. What I wish to know is whether you can go from one southern fed club to another and if the certificate would be honoured by a new club, perhaps after a visual exam/steam test or do I need to start again afresh with a hydraulic test? Any ideas, cheers, Mike

The simple answer is yes, unless there is something that raises doubt about the validity of the certificate. Under the new scheme of things certificates should also be acceptable to clubs affiliated to any of the signatories to the latest certification documents.

Thanks for that info GeorgeRay, hopefully I won't have to blank everything up again etc.
