Hi Guys, Thanks for the compliments - Its better looking in the photos The tray at the front is for the char (coal). This is basically the chassis of the riding car in the Blowfly construction book, but with the seat shortened and the additional water tank added at the rear. This helps in two ways - Helps to allow longer runs without stopping and also adds some extra weight over the rear bogie for when the big guy at the front leans forward to add char/adjust controls
