I have recently started an order of castings for 71/4" gauge "Roedeer". These are the first steel castings I have supplied and the customer is very happy , I hope ! The cross head pattern was rapid prototyped from my 3D cad drawing , and the castings are in en3 , other alloys including stainless steel can be supplied. Further castings will be the valve guides and motion brackets and there are some sets extra to the order available , you can PM me for further details in interested.

Paul , The customer building this batch will be updating his requirements as the build progresses , I am sure the hangers will be an ideal candidate. We would be pleased to quote for any casting regardless of model or size. regards Dan.

Hi Dan What I should have said was tender spring hangers, which I think are the same or very close to the ones on the 8 wheel tenders. I’ll try and do a drawing of them when I get time unless you already have one?
Regards Paul

Hi Dan, Were these investment cast or did you use the rapid prototype to make a sand mould pattern? I am working on a design for a new model in 5" gauge which will need several lost wax castings so if you're able to help I'd be interested in getting an indicative price from you. Here is the sort of thing I will be needing Regards, Mike
