Hello everyone, due to the decline in my wife's health (she had a fall last week) I am having to close my railway activity. So, I am selling my engines & with the interest shown on my website in making concrete sleepers also my old sleeper moulds, buy 1 & copy. If anyone is interested in building a railway I will show them how to build points etc.

Hi ewal, sorry to hear this news.Maybe your wife will get well enough for you to carry on in some small way with your railway activity. If not, then perhaps we can still enjoy the fruits of your experience and knowledge through this forum. All the best for the future,
Phil

Hi ewal
Sorry to hear about your wife hope she is recovering. I too hope we don't lose your valuable expertise and comments from this forum but I'm sure you've made your decision for the right reasons. I hope things get better for you both.

Hello Phil & Steve, Thank you for the best wishes. Gloria is fine apart from struggling to walk, the fall didn't do her any good of cause. She has a brace on her right leg & walks with 2 sticks & has to sit down frequently, she manages the house work with a little help from me but compared with what she used to do. She mixed all the morter & plaster by hand when we built our house & pointed the brickwork up to the first floor (she refused to go higher), also hauled the bricks & blocks up to me on the scaffolding. We built canoes for 20 years & she polished the moulds & helped to laminate. 2000 concrete sleepers made & loads of other things. By the way we had 5 children & apart from the eldest lad who was killed on his motorbike at 17 they are all doing well. She is on the website. E.W.
