Hi, I've justed joined, and wondered if anyone can help, I'm thinking of buying the above saw on ebay. I'd appreciate any information about it, such as, can it cut angles say 45deg etc,weight for transport and maybe moving it around the workshop. (from the the pic of it looks quite heavy) and anything else that might be useful. Thanks

You'd do better to put this in the 'Tools and Tooling section, rather than this section which is meant for topics relating to Model Engineer magazine. I only spotted it by accident. A few more details on the saw in question would help. Rapidor hacksaws do tend to be heavy beasts.
