I'm sure I saw recently an article on machine tool vibration damping feet (for a Super 7?) in ME, MEW, or possibly EIM... but I can't find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Cheers
Matt

Can't help with the article I'm afraid, but I bought a set of levelling feet for my Myford from the factory, at their last open day before closing down. RDG Tools now have most of the Myford spares stock, and I see they are offering the set of feet for £68 + VAT, which is less than I paid!
Look for 'ISO mounts' under 'cabinets and trays' on their website.

Matt I can't help with the article either, and I'm not trying to be clever, but it strikes me that some 50 x 5mm discs, some 10mm studding, a few nuts and a bit of 5mm cork matting might just do the trick! It's all we had when we worked in a shoebox...... JB

Hi Matt - I got the damping feet for my lathe from J&L who operate a very fast turn around service. Reg

Thanks for the replies.
I've got no problems sourcing feet, I just wanted to find the article to see if there were any general tips on anti-vibration mounts.
Cheers
