Please, does anyone have a lead to a firm that will spin dome covers either the whole shebang or the dome, to be soldered to a length of tube. We have several jobs on the go which do or will require covers to be made.

In ME issue 4097 there is an article on G A Hopkins and Son who specialise in metal spinning items such as chimney tops etc. The contact info given is:

The article was written in 1999 so I can't guarantee they are still going but it's worth a try.

They are no longer there. I know as i used them last year and tried to get another spun traction engine top earlier this year and they'd shut up shop. If anyone knows where they went to or if they still trade i would interested to know.
