Can anyone recommend a good cheapo mains-powered light that comes with a flexi-arm/clamp that I can stick on my drill press and move around my bench?

Homebase do lights with a flexible arm and a sprung clamp for under £6 - might be worth a look

Steve M.W: thanks for the suggestion - that's a good website either way. Hey I notice you're not far from me ... I live in sunny Coven! teakfreak: Perfect, and in a choice of colours! LOL I just bought a black one

Beat me to it. I get mine from IKEA. 9 Euros. Two are on the milling machine and one over the lathe. 27 Euros well spent.
