That is sub-editors, not subscription fees. According to the latest issue's index (4437) the Simpson and Shipton engine being serialised is from 'Potty Engineering'. Any connection with Thomas Crapper & Co?  |

Maybe. Michael Bentine used to do a show called " Potty Time" - perhaps it is relevant? I am not privy to the information. Sometimes you can get bogged down with this sort of thing. I looked at the film "Carry on at Your Convenience" but found they were just a shower. |
