hi, this is slightly strange. looks very much like a ouble tangye from a.j.reeves although yours is only a single. :/ i have looked at other stationary drawings but it only looks like the double tangye. Dan

Yes, I wondered that for a few minutes, but the Tangye has a one piece bed and trunk guide, and anyway, the size is way off if this ones got a 2" bore and stroke. are we sure about those sizes, beacuse if thats a 6" flywheel, the cylinder doesn't look to big enough to be 2" bore and 2" stroke, could be just the photo being misleading. although reversing gear isn't unknown in horizontal engines, it isn't that common either. It looks a bit odd from what little can be seen of it. The other one that came to mind is the single from Southworth Engines, but the size is wrong again, and their website mentions gunmetal castings, which this one isnt.
I do wonder if its a 'one off' by an individual builder, in which case drawings are going to be most unlikely.
