Physical size of G scale 45mm narrow gauge 1:20.3 locos

I am in the process of scratch building a loco for G scale 45mm track to a narrow gauge outline, 1:20.3.

My difficulty is having made several internet searches for dimensions of locos or rolling stock I have drawn a blank.
As it is a scratch build I don't have a prototype to take measurements from and really have no firm idea of the loading gauge I need to work to.

Is there any guidance folk might be able to offer me please?

I do think that they cover this size people on there are well versed in narrow gauge.

It depends on the size of the full size. A 1:20.3 Vale of Rheidol "Owain Glyndwr" will dwarf a 1:20.3 Hunslet "Alice" class
