I have a part finished 3/4" scale Bassett Lowke traction engine and it is missing parts most of which I could make if I had a full set of drawings does anyone know of any still clear enough to use. Also I need a set of gears I believe these were obtained originally from Bonds now no longer in existence so has anyone any ideas on what I could use to complete the engine. Any information would be a great help.

I noticed yesterday that Tee publishing still sell the booklet about the engine which may have some info but the drawings were separate.

Hi Jason thanks for the info I have the book as you say it has some info but as my drawings are incomplete I have gaps in my knowledge especially the gear arrangement etc. I don't think the drawings are still available I have tried lots of places so unless someone has a used set I'm stuck :-(

Once you identify them, Muffett will (probably) be able to supply them.
As a suggestion: Look at photos from recent exhibitions, and you will find some 3/4" B-L's on club stands. Contact the club(s) concerned and see if they will put you in touch with the owner, who, may have drawings or may measure the existing gears,

Hi Alan that's a good suggestion I will check recent exhibition galleries for photos, You also say once I identify them Muffett will (probably) be able to supply them. Can you elaborate on that please I don't understand what you mean.
