North West Leicestershire SME will be holding a Michael Breeze weekend on the 6th and 7th of September 2014 at their track at the Hermitage Leisure Centre, Whitwick, Coalville, Leicestershire. Anyone running or building a loco to one of Michael's designs is invited to attend. Caravans can be accomodated for those wishing to stop the weekend. We look forward to seeing you.

I might just pop along for that if I'm not doing anything else. I'm not building one, but I'd like to do the Duchess one day

That for the Duchess, Ed?
It's a beast, you need plenty of time and patience.
Hope to get to the rally, we can have a natter.
Waggy.

Hope to see you both there One of the chaps in the club is building a Duchess which should be there and a couple of others are building some of Michaels other designs e.g. K5 and P4. Dave Waldram from the club built the first V2 to Michael's drawings. Hopefully, Michael will be there himself. John

Yeah....I've only really glanced through them, it'll be a while before I build it, Manning Wardle to finish first, then there's the Lion still needs sorting out. Think I'll probably draw it all up in Solidworks as designed first on those cold wet winter evenings we'll be getting before long.....
Marked on the calender!!

I'm hoping I'll be able to attend. My A1 isn't very 'together' at the moment but I could bring the P2 rolling chassis

Hi Ed,
So far as I know it's still on. I've heard there will be at least 30 locos in attendance. I'll keep you posted.

Quite fancy this so hope to get along.
baggo is there a problem with the club website - wanted to find location details but the "new" site seems to be full of latin quotes?? Still under construction perhaps? Is the track easy to find.

Yes, the websites down at the moment. There was some 'aggro' with the person running it and everything got taken off. Hopefully it will be back soon.
The postcode is LE67 5BZ if you've got a sat nav or you can find it on Google maps. It's just off the A511 which runs through Coalville to Burton on Trent from Jcn 22 of the M1. The track is behind the 5 a side courts next to the fishing lake at the Hermitage Leisure Centre, Whitwick.

Baggo,
due to me and the good lady having an afterhours tour at the Tower of London Next Sat, unable to attend. As i am in the long term throes of building one of his B17, if there are any up there is there a chance that you ,or another member, or the builder, could send me copious pics please? (esp if it has a GE tender) Any costs ie putting them on a CD and postage will be happily refunded

Likewise with any V2s which may be there! (Different reason why I can't attend though!) Cheers Ben

Hello Ed,
Aiming to be there both days. Not sure if it'll be steamable, few teething problems to sort out.

Super. Not decided what day I'll get there yet, depends a bit on how the gearbox swap on the Land Rover goes!
