Hi Guys, I would like to fit a screw type regulator to a 3.5 inch gauge locomotive boiler for a friend of mine. Are there any drawings available which would save me time in design and development. The very small rotating disc type do not seal very well and I thought a screw type may do the job.
The regulator would be inside the boiler. That may sound a bit daft but about 30 years ago I made a screw type reg which fitted in the smoke box american style which worked very well and did not leak.
Regards
Paul

Try a commercial ball valve everyone seems to be using, thinking of using one myself
