South Cheshire Model Engineers - Open Day 13th September

South Cheshire MES are holding their annual public open day on Saturday, 13th September 2014
Train rides, exhibition of models, one or two other exhibits around the site plus refreshments.
Free entry.
11am until 5 pm at the tracksite, rear of the Premier Inn / Peacock Hotel, Willaston, Nantwich, CW5 6NE
Signs are out on the by-pass.

Only about 15 miles from the First World War weekend at the Apedale Railway. I might make it a round trip if I have the time.

If our open day had been another weekend, I would have been exhibiting at Apedale.
They put on a good show. I will walk over the hill to see them on Sunday instead!
Bit sad really, I used to work there when the mine was open....
