I am sure that there are members who have built the King. I cannot find any reference on the drawing as to how the motion from the eccentric on the second driving axle is transferred to the oil pump. Am I missing something or is the information just not there? Neither can I find any reference to an eccentric strap which is operated by the said eccentric.

Are you talking about GWR king if so there is information on drawing I had even though I did not use them because I like static lubricators . I have to dig out the plans to find the details .Let me know if you want me to do that .

No, there is no information on mine which are dated 1976 - probably very early ones as there are some mistakes and they are a bit rough. Please would you have a look round and perhaps send me a schematic or better a photo of the relevent bt of the drawing.
Thanks for that - you can always get an answer on here!

I checked the plans little while ago and discovered the following :- 1) details for the oil box available . 2) eccentric for oil pumps available. 3) No information for the strap , but all it is strap similar to the water pump , only smaller . I am sorry I thought every thing was there .good luck .

I did use static lubricator not for that reason , just because I like them .The way I see it is that it is similar to the water pump strap only smaller and if my memory serve me wright there is a casting for it .
